Stephen B. Goad
Stephen B. Goad is a 1978 graduate of West Virginia University with a BA in
History. He graduated Magna cum Laude with membership in the national honorary
society Phi Beta Kappa.
He also is a 1981 graduate of West Virginia University College of Law. While
in law school he worked part time in law firms in southern Pennsylvania and
northern West Virginia.
Upon graduation from law school he worked in southern West Virginia in the
general practice of law including civil and criminal defense, domestic
relations, real estate, wills and estates, and business transactions.
In 1989 He moved to Charlotte where he limited his practice to professional
negligence claims primarily medical and legal.
He took a leave of absence from the practice of law to pursue other some of
his other interests. During this time he participated in mission trips to Haiti,
Ghana, and Malaysia; participated in other volunteer opportunities and worked in
a bicycle shop.
He joined Ted A. Greve & Associates, P.A. in January 2005 where he
concentrates in the area of Social Security disability law.
He is a member of North Carolina State Bar and Mecklenburg County Bar. He is
admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Western
District of North Carolina and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.
He is a veteran of United States Navy. His interests include cycling.
He is a member at Providence Baptist Church Charlotte. He is a crew leader for
the church’s Habitat for Humanity team.
